Supervisor of the Plasma Research Group (Department of Electronics, Informatics, and Systems - University of Calabria) and CEO of SenSysCal S.r.l. His research interests include distributed computing, wireless sensor networks, multimedia systems, agent-oriented technology and systems, and applied software engineering.
  • Antonio GuerrieriResearch fellow (University of Calabria, Italy), aguerrieri(at)deis(dot)unical(dot)it

He received the PhD degree in computer engineering from the University of Calabria, Italy, in 2012. His research interests are focused on design methods for high-level programming of wireless sensor networks. He spent six months as researcher at the Telecom Italia WSN Lab at Berkeley, California, and one year at the Clarity Centre, UCD (University College Dublin), Ireland. He is involved in several research projects on wireless sensor networks such as BMF, SPINE, MAPS and FP7 CONET. He is a co-founder of SenSysCal S.r.l., a spin-off of University of Calabria.
  • Gregory O'Hare Associate Professor (University College Dublin, Ireland), Website, gregory.ohare(at)ucd(dot)ie

He was the Head of the Department of Computer Science at University College Dublin (UCD) 2001-2004. Prior to joining UCD he has been on the faculty of the University of Central Lancashire and the University of Manchester. His research interests are in the areas of Distributed Artificial Intelligence and Multi-Agent Systems (MAS), and Mobile & Ubiquitous Computing, Autonomic Systems and Wireless Sensor Networks. In 2003 he received the Cooperative Information Agents (CIA), System Innovation Award. He also held a prestigious Science Foundation Ireland (SFI) Principal Investigator Award 2003-2007. He is one of the Principal Investigators and founders of the Science Foundation Ireland funded Centre for Science and Engineering Technologies (CSET) entitled CLARITY: The Centre for Sensor Web Technologies (2008-2013).
  • Antonio RuzzelliResearch fellow and team leader (CLARITY research centre at University College Dublin, Ireland), Website, ruzzelli(at)ucd(dot)ie

He is a research fellow team leader at the CLARITY centre for Sensor Web technologies at University College Dublin. His research investigates technologies to empower building energy-efficiency, usage prediction, smart energy metering and wireless networking sensors. In 2010, he has won the Ireland Innovator award for major advances on intelligent energy-monitoring. He is currently the Principal Investigator on several FP7 projects in the Intelligent Buildings space. He received a laurea degree in Electronic Engineering at the University of Ferrara (Italy) and PhD in Computer Science at the University College Dublin (Ireland).
